Fantastic position in betweem Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. We had the master suite which was perfect if you are travelling with a grown-up son. Fantastic view over the sea and Copacabana!
I was jogging barefeet along the waterline every morning! Faboulous!
Still it was easy to reach shops and the city centre by underground.

The hotel is directly at the beach and within an easy walk to Ipanema and Arpoador, both of which are nicer than Copacabana. The sea can get a bit dirty at this end of the beach but then it is a 5 minute walk to the above.

The welcome at the front desk and the contact with all of the staff was excellent. Extremely helpful and provided suggestions as to the museums we should visit. A well-equipped hotel in good location (close to beach and to Metro). Spacious room with sleeping and living area separated by a sliding door. Very good (though somewhat noisy) air condition, kitchenette, balcony, ... all you need, and very clean and quiet (except a/c). Good breakfast. Friendly staff, but not all of them understand English.

shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.

We stayed at the sol Ipanema for 3 nights at the beginning of March. We chose a deluxe sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 11th floor and had fabulous views in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning and had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, the second time

Incredible location..very clean and nice rooms. Though I had to wait about an hour to check in but the front desk infact particularly Mr. Leonardo was kind enough to check me into a spacious sea view room though I had a mountain view booking. The lobby is quite comfortable and they serve you very well and too be true very well priced. The roof top bar & pool again are a joy giving a breathtaking view of the beach all around. To sum up a great place to stay and I would return soon..
