The staff was very friendly. They brought us tea and made us a nice meal for our room without prior notice. Great location, right on the Leie. We were able to store our canoe in the back yard. Breakfast was exquisite, with fresh ingredients. There was more than enough food (we couldn't finish it all). Staff is very friendly.

Lovely big open hotel. The style of Van Der Valk hotels is large rooms, large restaurants open and spacious, much better than so many other hotels that shoehorn in as many tiny rooms as possible. Van Der Valk are passionate about their customers experience. Great hotels, great value. -
