  This is a delightful small chateau with 7 or 8 rooms. Ours was lavishly decorated with period furniture, frescos and fine artwork. There is also a large lounge area with a piano, impressive fire, a formal dining area for a dozen and casual seating for at least that many. All this grandeur was offset beautifully with a certain, well, shabbiness, which I personally found made the whole place mu - We had a very comfortable room with an amazing bed and a patio. In a semi-rural location just a few minutes outside of Mariembourg. The staff were great and we were allowed to visit and feed the deer and llamas. Peacocks and geese were roaming free in the grounds. A very handy location for the CF3V heritage railway.
