i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus.
i cooked a lot of great meals.
the layout of the room was good,
it felt like home.
Laundry service was great.
and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC.
We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much.
Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.

We stayed in Thistle Hill for 2 night celebrating my partners birthday. I have visited Hunter Valley previously and have to say this Guesthouse is one of the top stays I have experienced. Beautiful decor with attention to details, Thistle Hill grounds are stunning, breakfast very tasty with great choice of food, and Carol's baked pears just delicious!! We will definitely come back later this year.

The staff were very friendly and helped as soon as they could when our Foxtel did not work. Ironed out the problem and gave us two bottles of wine for waiting for it to be fixed. Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom unit. Kitchen was well-stocked and had space to move around in. The view to the south and west from the lounge in Unit 1 is good. Good value. Would stay again.

The room was very clean and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities, and staff at reception were at once professional and friendly. Fantastic place to stay with such a gorgeous room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we wanted to stay forever. The vases of flowers were exquisite in our room and in the communal dining room.
We were greeted upon arrival with homemade cookies by the owner. The villas were immaculate as were the beautiful gardens. -

Canada in the last 2years and this hotel is as good as any of them.If it
was in Milan,New York,Tokyo,Stockholm or wherever it would be the
"in"place to stay. The staff are very competent and friendly
.The rooms are very well appointed and stylish.The bar and restaurant
are very good and have a great atmosphere .And the location is
excellent. It is an excellent hotel.
