  Allan and family are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble rooms very comfortable and clean infact I am back here now and would not stay anywhere else would recommend the summerhill to anyone thank you - We stayed at The Summerhill for one night- very friendly and helpful owners.   The owners where wonderful people, made you feel very welcome. The spot was tremendous, right opposite the beach. Had a fantastic lawn area outside your door for young kids to run around and be safe. Only minutes walk from both beaches and from all shops in the main street.   I cannot recommend Robyn's Nest highly enough. We booked it online as I liked that it was 5 Star, and that it wasn't in the hustle and bustle of town, and was on a stunning property with lots of gum trees. Upon arrival, I was stunned at how magnificent it was, and it's right on the water, which I wasn't expecting. We will definitely be back and recomme - Staff were very friendly and attentive, provided very helpful information and advice on local destinations and activities. We felt very well cared for and it is highly likely that we return and would have no hesitation recommending Robyn's Nest to friends. The hotel is located a few km outside of Merimbula with beautiful views of forest and lake. Being so close to town, I can't think of any reason why you would want to stay in the centre.

  When we arrived we had the most friendly welcome by the happiest lady, she was just a lovely, helpful person from when we checked in to when we checked out, and she is a great animal lover as well. There was plenty of wildlife in the backyard.A beautiful place to stay,the owners do a great job, we would definately go back there. The host (I wish I remembered her name) was so lovely and omg! all the animals and birds that came for a visit and a feed! Quite amazing! I would definitely stay at the Kingfisher again :)
