Nestled on a hillside just outside Margaret River town, Gilgara Retreat offers traditionally decorated bedrooms and modern self-catering suites. Guests can relax amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. The rooms within the main house, a replica of an 1870s homestead, feature original brickwork and high ceilings. Each room includes a private en suite bathroom with toiletries and luxury towels. The suites feature polished floors, stainless steel and glass, and a split-level design with kitchenette facilities. The stylish bathrooms contain a large shower and a 2-person spa bath. The shared guest living area has an open wood fireplace and tea and coffee making facilities. Gilgara Retreat Margaret River is just a 7-minute drive from the township of Margaret River and Margaret River Golf Course. It is a 10-minute drive to Prevelly Beach.

It is located in a very beautiful area surrounded by trees and a nice garden. The garden suits are excellent for a short stay out of Margaret River town center, where you want some private and quiet area for relaxing. The staff are very friendly and nice people who cares about their guests. Well-equipped and maintained. Clean. Quiet. Beautiful views around. Close to town center and other attractions. Located on a tourist road. Awesome!.
wszystkie opinie » Me and my partner spent the night at Gilgara Retreat on arrival the hospitality was 5 star very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accomodation was beautiful romantic and allowed us to take in the surroundings we enjoyed our stay very much and anticipate returning with family and friends in August. Thanks for an amazing stay!!. the property is situated off the main stretch of Margaret River, very pleasently nice and quiet location, well equipt and beautifully designed room. Loved the additional touches and attention to details. The hosts were not in town during my visit but Vinc took good care of us. Loved the place. Very relaxing place in a beautiful setting. We were made very welcome by friendly staff. The location was also great as we had easy access to Margaret river, wineries, crafts and markets. We realy enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at Gilgara retreat again soon. Definitely going back there so peaceful and quiet We loved it..well presented, clean and modern rooms excellent service and friendly manner when dealing with the owners. Recommend it to everyone looming for that relaxing time away while not being to far from the town :-). Gilgara Retreat is a very nice and relaxing place to stay and convenient for travelling in the Margaret River region. The managers are very friendly and hospitable. We stayed a night longer and would go back again. Peaceful and quiet,and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.We would go back if we visited the area again as it was very central to lots of the places of interest. The self contained room was very well set out. Lots of glass so when you sat in the kitchen lounge part you looked out over lawn and through trees, very relaxing. Being part of the nature, a room in the middle of a beautiful garden and the wild life.also an amazing access road to drive to get there. The bathroom size, and the view from the lounge area. quiet, peacful well located accomodation. location, relaxed atmosphere, privacy. Clean and excellent service. The serenity of the place. Everything. 1. We loved the privacy of the garden suites. They were beautifully designed it was lovely returning back at the end of each day. 2. Great food recommendations! We hit Arc of Iris on our first night. Amazinggg food! It is a must go. Also enjoyed Berry Farm for tea. Thanks to Elaine for the advice!. In garden suites, it would be better if the TV was located in sitting area rather than the bedroom. heating in the toilet would be good. Nothing!. check out time being so early... but i understand why it is at 10 :). room was too bright in mornings...more blinds needed. Didnt have tv in my room. 1. It would have been great to have wifi within the suites especially since the main house is a distance away and unsheltered in between. 2. Possible to have binds/ curtains installed in the bed area. It's a very open concept, which isn't ideal if you'd like the option to sleep in and the morning sun shines through from 6am.
