Tranquil location close to all facilities necessary when on holidays.Our hostess Susan was a delight and able to share her the current details re the attractions on the island.Thank-you from Marg and Gary. Loved Susan and her beautiful cottages. A very charming garden and beautiful rooms. Very helpful with the breakfast and everything. Will love to come back. A special mention to Sally the adorable doggie.
wszystkie opinie » The house was very pretty. Well furnished. Pretty garden. Hostess very friendly. Excellent continental breakfast. Loved the caraff of port on the bedside table and the chocolate. Bed. Presentation. Friendly yet homely atmosphere created. Wonderful host. Attention to detail and extra's which were not expected e.g. port and chocolate. Loved the whole place, a beautiful garden and surrounds. We intend to go back and stay again at a later stage. Very friendly atmosphere. Susan is friendly and provides helpful tips for visitors, including healthy breakfast and access to wifi. the owner was very pleasant and the brakfast was perfect. nice romantic setting; early 20th century decoration;. Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend it. The small room we stayed in had no air conditioning. This is not made clear on letsbookhotel.com website. Room was a bit of a let down after a long day's driving. Hardly enough space to walk past the bed without falling out the door. No cooked breakfast available and you had to make your own tea at breakfast. I felt that Cowes was very downmarket compared to the other seaside resorts we stayed at in nsw & Victoria. Good host and the kind of breakfast I like. Close to the shore and walking distance to Cowes. Quiet area. In summer they accept a 1 night stay. None. All fantastic - what could we not like? (One couple in twenties one couple in their fifities). there was no bath, which was a big disappointment, i feel this should be mentioned, also the faulty fire alarm that continued to go off during our stay was quite annoying. breakfast quite basic. Hardly enough space to walk past the bed without falling out the door. No cooked breakfast available and you had to make your own tea at breakfast. I felt that Cowes was very downmarket compared to the other seaside resorts we stayed at in nsw & Victoria. Advertised as Air Conditioned - it isn't! - the other 3 rooms are. This is the cheapest rooms and the size and lack of air con brings down the standard of the site. The price difference should be much greater. The room was over furnished for its size and with plants growing through the wall and dusty corners also brought it down.
