Situated just 350 metres from Coffs Harbour Beach and the historic Coffs Harbour Jetty, this hostel offers a pool and BBQ area surrounded by sun loungers. Guests also enjoy a games room, communal TV lounge and table tennis. There is a spacious shared kitchen which offers a large walk-in refrigerator and a dining area. A supermarket, liquor store and pub are located directly across the road from YHA Coffs. Each room has a ceiling fan and all linen is provided. Dormitories include reading lights and personal lockers. Private rooms with an en suite bathroom are available. Wi-Fi and Skype are available in all public areas The tour desk books local activities such as horse riding, walking trails and kayaking as well as trips to nearby beaches, Muttonbird Island and The Big Banana. Surfboards, body boards and bicycles are all available for hire. Coffs Harbour YHA is 500 metres from Coffs Harbour Railway Station and a 10-minute drive from The Big Banana. There are several beaches within a 20-minute bus ride. The hostel offers free pickup from the airport and bus station.

Wonderfully friendly and personal check-in and check-out, straight away a feeling of being welcome and having a connection to the place. The location couldn't be better, just next to the Jetty restaurant strip and a short walk to the beach and the harbour. My first stay at YHA hostel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Basic but comfortable room. Large kitchen kept clean. Quiet.
