The suite was very clean and roomy. We enjoyed the pool , the hot tub was a nice 3ft deep ! Right off of the lobby was a gathering area where we were able to enjoy visiting with friends in front of the fireplace , there were board games for the family to use along with a nice collection of books to read....on Saturday night there was karaoke that even the children were encouraged to join in , very comfortable place to stay with family, even barbecue grills outside on the patio for use if the fa.
alle vurderinger » Great location and the outside of the hotel looked very very nice. Free breakfast with many choices that tasted well. Pool and spa area were well kept. Overall a good value at the price I got it at. I think the Hotel, location & the young man that checked me in was really nice. The room was very clean. I especially liked the complimentary breakfast every morning. The whole stay was very nice and comfortable. Great value. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. The grounds and facilities were very nice looking. Like the ambiance and quietness of the Lotus. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Location. Drains in the sinks and tub/shower were very slow at draining !. The hotel's inside didn't match the outside. In need of updating and the room and hotel interior needed numerous repairs. Floors and stairs made a lot of noise when walked on. A great deal of noise from people walking on floors outside the room door could be heard through the door. Workout equipment leaves a lot to be desired. The man that checked me out wasn't very friendly. I asked him did he ever smile & he got sarcastic with me & asked me did I ever smiled? I think a paying customer should be treated with more respect. I don't know if he was having a bad or what was going on. He never asked how was my stay? I wasn't told thanks for staying or come back. Very bad attitude. The pool was closed & the tread-mill, didn't work. I like to work out everyday but couldn't because the equipment need to be fixed. I did not like the fact that there was no information leading me to horseback riding which was advertised as close by. Nothing. One of the front desk attendants (morning of 8/30) was very rude. The computer in the business nook is badly in need of an upgrade. There was a wet area on the hallway floor near our room throughout our stay (plumbing leak?). Disappointed that the restaurant on site was closed and that there was not a special golf package for staying at the Lotus. The Midlane Golf Course is a gem and should be included with a package. Would go back if that was offered, otherwise will look else where for a golf resort . . . why would they call themselves a Golf Resort without a Golf Package . . . totally misleading name. I did not like the room I was given. It was next to a service room which had some piece of equipment running in it 24/7. Noisy. Staff was not helpful. Room needed to be updated. Carpet was dirty, furniture worn, heat didn't work. Very frustrating 2 nights!!. Breakfast wasn't very good. Breakfast was poor. Sink would not drain, but we were not compensated. Maid set our alarm for 4:30 am. Kids running up & down halls after 1:00 am.
