  We LOVED the old style hotel room that this place offered. Room is large but the hotel is OLD and in need of some minor repairs. The hotel desk clerks were very informative and friendly. - The room was clean. The furniture in good condition. The desk person was extremely helpful. When the tv did not work correctly she tried to get it corrected.... hva folk sier » She wasn't successful

  Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful and cosy way. The historic feeling is great. Great location. For breakfast, you can get tea or coffee and delicious pastry. I also liked how they turned the "bad" stuff into something nice; instead of saying "we only have bathrooms in the corridor and not in the roo... hva folk sier » ms" they say "You can borrow for free a nice bathrobe if you want!". - Jan (the owner) was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for sights and activities during my short stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. It is also on/near public transit lines. The hotel has an extremely rich and important history that Jan is always willing to talk about. If I ever make it to Seattle again, I will definitely stay here!
