  I liked everything about the hotel. It was quaint. Our room was a single. Small but perfect for us. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive. And it was very quiet at night. For the money it was a great place to stay. - Very friendly staff, made a mistake with the date and they changed it without any hassle.   The location of this hotel is incredible, right on the beach with a restaurant on the top floor. We watched dolphins playing in the waves as we chowed down on amazing pancakes and eggs benedict. Its also right on a bike path into Monterey, 20 min ride one way and in the other direction, wild empty wild beaches and sand dunes for miles. Staff super helpful and friendly, especially Luis, even when we asked for room - Their location is right on a beautiful beach with uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean - it's fantastic! The hotel is also well designed to allow views and access to the ocean all throughout the facility. This Best Western truly takes advantage of its prime location. Also it is very conveniently located right off the Highway 1, and is just outside of Monterey so the beach is primarily for hotel guests!

  My friends and I came here for a quick golfing expedition, and we decided on this hotel because of its affordability. For the price we paid, we didn't expect a nice hotel, but we certainly got one! Everyone sh - My husband and I came here for a quick, unplanned shopping/golfing trip, and we really picked this hotel of it's close location to all the downtown dining/shopping AND golfing. What we didn't expect, for the price we paid, how nice this place was! Everything looked new! Very nice look and feel of the whole hotel.
