  Nice, quiet place to relax! Was surprised how much space we had in the place. Grounds were well maintained and it was nice to sit on the patio and watch the fish jumping in the canal. The walk to the beach was short and very nice. Would definitely return! - The condo was clean. We saw manatees from our room. The beach was a short walk.   It was a great location. The room and bathroom were updated which was great. The facility including the room was very clean. We live in South Florida but are originally from Philly and Boston and it reminded us of the Northeast. The whole facility gave us a welcoming, cozy and warm feeling. The Normandie restaurant had great food as well as a gre... hva folk sier » at staff. Kim the waitress was very friendly and helpful on what to do and see during our stay. Gerry in the Office was also very friendly and helpful - The proximity to the beach was key for me. Our room overlooked a pool area with a clear view of the water and sunsets beyond. It was lovely. The hotel was built in the 1960s; however, it has been updated very adequately. I wanted to stay in a place with some history, and I got exactly that! It was delightful. There were clearly people there who had been visiting for years!
