We had a one night stopover and chose this hotel as it was close to the airport. As I habitually have a cup of tea on arrival at any hotel, I really appreciated the all day tea/coffee /hot chocolate provided free of charge in the lobby. This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. I liked the personal touch of a "sail boat" greeting card, which everyone signed, placed in the hotel room.

The location was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. I we recommend this hotel to others. This will be the only hotel that we stay at when we go back to San Diego.

From the front desk staff to the cleaning crew, all the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. We especially enjoyed the people who helped with the complimentary breakfast. The hotel was centrally located so we were never more than 10 minutes from the things we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again. -

My husband and I were celebrating our silver wedding and booked 3 nights at the hotel,we loved every minute of our stay.
The hotel was amazing,the location was fabulous and we just loved to watch the sunset on the beach.
