We decided to extend our weekend trip last minute but were unable to afford another night at the hotel we'd stayed in the night before. it was great to find a good hotel at a great price on such short notice. in closet/dressing area. There was a full length mirror, 2 dressers

We've stayed at the Hotel Galvez many times. Notice I said "many", that's because the staff is awesome. From the moment you pull up to the valet at this beautiful, historic hotel, you feel special. The Galvez Hotel is a beautiful old hotel that has been magnificently restored and kept up to date. It is right on the seawall and beach and has a rich and interesting history. I like that this is prominently displayed and guests are made aware of its history. We especially enjoyed the older gentlemen curator in the lower level where a lot of pictures and artifacts are displayed. This gentlemen should be specially acknowledged as he brought the history and stories to life.
