  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina. In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom was big and nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also nice you could choose many different things like omelettes or - The staff was excellent from the doorman to the pool staff. The front desk was helpful. Erica at the bar was attentive and made you feel like you've been showing up there for years. The gentleman who provide fires outside for two nights was a very nice man.

  Great spa, great setting, very, very nice and helpful staff. Very good food except for the Gurney burger--dry and tasteless. Nice rooms, great views, comfortable beds. Very clean and comfortable baths. It was a wonderful place to escape and relax. - Everyone who worked there was friendly and professional.We had a 2 bedroom suite right on beach.W... hva folk sier » e had a problem with guests overhead. Front desk immediately offered us to move to another suite no problem. Great customer service.

  Our fourth- floor balcony room had a wonderful view of Mirror Lake and the mountains. It was conveniently situated on the main street in the town of Lake Placid, which had nightly live music in the lakefront park. There were numerous restaurants and shops. The hotel is within walking distance from the Olympic ice rinks. We stayed a week and - This place is an authentic jewelry! The location is ideal, in the lively city center but right on the lake, featuring a private beach provided with chairs, canoe, paddle boats, toys for the kids, etc.; the staff is professional and attentive, the people in charge of the room cleaning very efficient; our room was quiet and comfortable; the pool and the whirlpools are a nice "plus". We will definitively come back!
