  The desk staff was helpful and cheerful. We ended up with a private bath as well, which was really nice. The room was small and there wasn't anything fancy, but it was perfect for what we needed (a bed to sleep on and a place to shower in the morning).   I stayed at fit Hotel twice in a month. I was with them for a week and then for a couple of days. The location is definitely 5 stars. Being at the Upper West Side (Manhattan), it is right next to Central Park and the important museums.
