The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

I have stayed here for just one night and again for seven consecutive
nights, and each time I have had a lovely, spacious, clean room with a
large bathroom and all the amenities such as coffee maker, fridge,
microwave, iron, WiFi, etc. You can pick up a free newspaper in the
lobby every day. The atrium is great for quiet study. The lobby staff is

The value of the hotel was excellent considering the fact that my family
was in New Orleans for a major festival and all the other major hotels
were too high. I like the easy check-in, the front desk staff was pretty
friendly. The rooms were very spacious, we reserve the standard room and
there were 3 people in my room, and we were very satisfied with the
space and the view from our room. The cleanliness of the carpet and
bathroom were ok, They could stand to steam clean the carpets and look

I Loved the comforter on our bed it was so comfortable to sleep in, and

This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it

I liked the coustmer service. The staff was great! The pool area looked great like it was out of a movie. The gated parking is comforting. - The staff was pleasant and eager to help
