  The lodge was in an idea place in the town clos to everywhere we waned to visit .The room was very nice and not noisy. The breakfast was really good plenty of choice for everyone. There were lots of places to eat. Just over the road to the village square which is lovely and most bars have happy hour from 4-7pm with a movie night in the square once... hva folk sier » a week. - We like the general, relaxed atmosphere and the cleanliness. Even though the rooms are in need of upgrading by hotel standards, the cleanliness and neatness makes up for it. The breakfast is wonderful.

  So glad that we found this hotel! We stayed here two nights. We wanted something close to Yosemite and were coming from Utah, so Mammoth Lakes was a reasonable location. It is about 45 minutes from the East entrance of Yosemite. Which is not close to the main visitors area, but there is plenty to do on the east side. The Sierra Nevada Resort was s... hva folk sier » uch a lovely, charming, rustic lodge, with a very nice lobby that has a huge fireplace, bar, free coffee, tea and lemon water 24-7, and lots of seati - SNR just finished a remodeling that has transformed this resort! Beautiful bathrooms with heated floors and even a heated toilet seat. The fixtures look like they are out of an architecture magazine. The room we had came with a fireplace, elegant furniture and granite countertop in the kitchenette. The room was very quiet even though we were next to the stairs; the staff mentioned that they tore out the walls and installed all new insulation. This is the best value in Mammoth right now.
