  Hotel is super-super clean and new. In the middle of nowhere but the small town has done its part to get brand name stores there and car dealers. Still 60 miles from Yosemite and another 25 miles after getting into the gate-so a 90-mile drive! I would guess Fresno is the place to stay but it's even further to get to Yosemite by about 15 more miles... hva folk sier » . - My daughters and I made a week-end trip to Madera, CA to see one of my daughters and her family.
