throughout the stay - I know such must occur, but perhaps some small
discount/accomodation is in order for those who endure it. Still not
too big a deal for me, but something to think about. Also disappointed
as a gold member that letsbookhotel.com had a cheaper rate than through the
Hilton Honors website - did not understand that

I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!! Loved the location. Was able to walk to the Superdome for the game.
Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions.
It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with
no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in
minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would
stay there again.

We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.
