  I loved everything about the Blake Hotel. The staff was fantastic. My room was very comfortable and I felt very safe in this location. It has an onsite restaurant that serves good food and it is very close to the French Quarter, Canal Street shopping, the St Charles St trolley and only a 10 minute brisk walk to Cafe du Monde. The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. I read other reviews that said the rooms weren't nice, but ours was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

  Thw location is perfect. We walked uptown, downtown, to the arena for a eric clapton concert. We parked the car and never had to use it. We walked back from Boubon st at 1:30 in the morning it was safe and an easy walk. The hotel was very quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable we had on our ten day trip staying at high end hotels. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job the room sme - What made this place stand out from the other hotels was the staff. They are very friendly and comply to every request of the guest. I have stayed in many hotels and this hotel by far has the best front desk service. I also like all the amenities that are located in the room which include a refrigerator and a microwave. In my opinion those are essential needs of a traveler.

  We stayed for an event, hotel was full and with all the activity the staff at this hotel was excellent and very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be near the superdome - we enjoyed the location and the staff of the Dury plus the complementary breckfast, popcorn and soda and dinner. very nice!
