Cookies, fruit and coffee available all day for no extra charge, and a decent breakfast (no eggs, etc). Customer service is very good, John at the reception the night we have arrived was very helpful. They served a continental breakfast ;fruits, bagels, toasts, cereals, juice and coffee, breakfast is at the reception a bit too small but there is a deck behind the reception that you can go with your breakfast. Room is cleaned, free parking.
You can walk to the aquarium (about 20 minutes), very nice a <<must to do<<.
Very good value for your money.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The complimentary happy hour was a good opportunity to meet others staying at the hotel and the ambiance was nice, we sat on a sofa by the fireplace. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent.
The room was totally updated.
The bathroom was updated and the shower/jaccuzi was fantastic!
The roof was a patio where you can sit and watch the ocean while sipping your drink.

Everyone is great at this place. The staff are friendly intelligent and very helpful. We stayed at cottage n.1. This is very quirky old England school. Lovely decor and furnishings. Beautifully appointed bathroom and ultra comfortable bed. This is true value for money by USA West coast standards. We actually slept for 11 hours after a long journey

The ambiance of the past ran true throughout. The staff is very sweet and efficient. The inn is very old, but they have maintained it quite nicely. The bed was super comfy! The room was small and very basic. There are no frills (no tv, coffee pot, etc) They serve a nice breakfast in the morning and always have coffee and tea available downstairs. Lovely place for a quiet rest.

I liked how close it was to the beach. Just steps away. I've read some negative reviews on this inn that I don't agree with. I read that this inn should be removed from letsbookhotel.com and this place is so old you wouldn't be able to cover that up with paint and new fixures.. or something to that degree. Well, this is an awesome little inn/motel

I like the location, across the street from the ocean. The double queen beds in the room were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. They need more room for breakfast outside of the rooms. When I asked the front desk if it was safe to walk the path to Cannery Row, they said that it definitely way. Pacific Grove is a very safe area. That made me feel good that I was in an area that I didn't have to worry about walking at night.

We had a good sized room for 3 adults. Table and flowers were a nice addition to the room with comfortable lounge chairs. Location was excellent if you enjoy walking--equidistant to town and to Asilomar beach trail. You can walk to PG Municipal Golf Course and/or eat at their Point Pinos Grill (inside or outside) which overlooks the greens and has a view of the ocean. Front office was friendly and accommodating.

Excellent location in beautiful pacific grove. Fantastic front desk ladies in the morning. The property is a bit old, some of the shutters broken and the bath clean but old and a bit manky. Had a great ocean facing room on the second floor, I think other rooms may prove to be disappointing in terms of view and ambience. -
