Small breakfast and coffe available at all hours also very convenient. - This was our first time staying at the Broadway Plaza Hotel but it will definitely be our first choice for the next time we visit NYC.   Everything was great - we appreciated the room, the view, the service, the included breakfast, the location, the staff. It was for sure the best choice we could have made in New York (quality and price wise). - I couldn't ask for any more than what i got,i'm very happy

  We stayed at Four Points for 4 nights, once we landed in Newark Airport we caught the bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal (Newark Airport Express Bus), the price was $28 each return, or $16 each way. The Four Points hotel is located right next to the bus station (the bus stops on 42nd St – but at the back of the bus station is 40th St where the hot... hva folk sier » el is), the bus pickup point back to the airport is on 41st St. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in, but they let us leave all our cases and bags - The staff was amazing especially Kathia and Mohammed. Kathia was the young lady that checked us in and she was very helpful as well as kind and considerate. Mohammed was one of the gentlemen in the lobby. He stored our luggage so we could go ahead and go site-seeing while we waited on our room. When the room was ready Kathia was very quick to finish the paperwork and get us checked in. Instead of waiting for our luggage, Mohammed told us to go on up to the room and he would bring it up for us.

  Better than the Belvedere! I visit NY all the time and usually stay in 4 star hotels, sometimes 5. I was a little worried about the Gem, but decided I should try it out. Best decision I made. The place is a gem.   They do not have elevator, the internet is only in the lobby and the breakfast is too simple, but almost all of this are cited in the hotel description. So, I recomend this hotel because it was exactly I expected. My bad grade to the cleaness was because of the bathrooms. The room is cleaned every day, and the hotel have new painting and clean halls - Friendly guys at reception, possibility to leave suitcase there after check-out (for $4), there was even breakfast included in the price (very very basic though, but all I need in the morning is a coffee to get me going :-), easy to meet fellow travellers (the people staying there were all really communicative and friendly and interesting to talk to) in the lounge, which is the only place to get free wifi on your mobile or laptop in the hostel
