It is clear from the moment you step food in front of the hotel to the
moment you check out that the staff at this Hotel love their jobs and
really enjoy working with one another. The hotel is beautiful and
impeccably designed to embrace the rich banking history that enchant the

Charming boutique hotel with lots of charm in a historic building. It's well located in the Gaslight Quarter, close to the Convention Center and with easy access to all the things that make San Diego fun. The rooms are very nice with a fireplace and lots of faux-antiques that made the rooms look more "Victorian" and lots of fun. It had all the modern comforts while giving the impression that we were staying in Wyatt Earp's old San Diego. I'd definitely stay there again.

although the hotel was not what we expected it was okay considering we were just there to sleep. if you're looking for a cheap decent place to sleep this is the place. if you're looking for somewhere to be comfortable probably not the place for you. the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. We love the fact that both our boys had their own beds, which allowed for a more intimate time for my spouse and I. We also loved the breakfast and evening snacks offered. The location was just right. -

Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) &
hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown
as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to

The style of hotel and room suited our taste and what you would expect
from a European style boutique hotel. Great Cafe downstairs! Great View
of downtown and a feeling like you are downtown, but not in the thick of
it. Relatively quiet and easy access to all parts of San Diego. The
staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will make this our home
away from home whenever we travel to San Diego.
