We got an upgrade room at no charge, they were super helpful, we ordered room service twice and it was great. They made our stay wonderful. I live in Vegas and like to stay on the strip when going out, and have therefore stayed at many hotel/casinos. I've stayed at Vdara before and I really enjoyed this trip too.
First off, we checked in earlier than normal check-in and we got
upgraded to a Corner King Suite which was huge, spacious! There was a
full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, separate bathroom, washer and dryer

The hotel had beautiful design both inside and out. The rooms were
finished to a high standard. The hotel is ideally located for exploring
rest of the strip but a haven for escaping the noise also. The staff
were helpful and we were upgraded on our second night to a executive
room as we were on our honeymoon. We were also given champagne and
strawberries upon returning from our trip to the grand canyon booked
through the hotel. The upgrade was to a corner room so we had 270 degree

We stayed here on our wedding day and it was the best choice. We have
been upgraded to vip for free, and the vip suite was amazing. The bed
was very comfortable and the bathroom included a massage tub and a tv
mounted in the mirror. The spa is also very good and some parts are
complimentary. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the price we
payed it was well above expectations. Would stay there again.

The hotel staff are very nice, and professional and have very great postive attitudes here. I had a very pleasant exprience here I will never forget!! The place is very safe her with a security team that keeps the hotel safe and these security personal here have a big heart and great respect for all guest to stay here. The price was excellent for two adults staying two nights in Las Vegas!! We spent most of our time at the Mandalay Bay Resort where most of my family was gathered for my neice's wedding. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were. Very convenient. -
