We (young couple - 28 yo) stayed in this hostel during one week to visit
ny. We spent a very nice time at this place. The bedroom (economy-cheap)
was little but nice, confortable and clean (queen bed, sink, mirror,
window). We had a shared bathroom always clean and available (morning

Frankie at the front desk was wonderful. The location was very close to the 8th avenue subway station which was a nice line to ride and see the city. The breakfast was delicious and the other guests were friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good (a plus for me). The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily. Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

We arrived an hour early and were let into our room which we didn't expect. Staff were very friendly at reception and gave us free spanish tapas vouchers for use at the bar in the hotel. Lovely modern room with a huge really comfortable bed (more comfortable than the bed on the cruise ship that we joined a few days later). The rooms were a lot better than expected, luxury bathrooms even in the standard rooms.
The hotel itself is in a great location close to most of the tourist sites. Would definitely recommend.

It was our first time with my friend in New York and the hotel was perfect for us as it was 10 minutes walk to time square. We would walk easily from time square to the hotel after 12am.

I though the hotel was very clean, especially the rooms. The location
was good, train stations were 3-4 blocks away which made getting around
town easy. The neighborhood (Chinatown), although dirty was safe. Staff
was friendly and tentative for the most part. The rooms, for being nyc
were good size. There was not porter fee to pay for as a group booking.
