  The Hayes Valley Inn is located in a wonderfully eclectic neighborhood with a number of interesting shops and galleries. I much preferred my stay, here, to staying downtown in the Union Square area, where most of the "tourist' hotels are located. The price $67.00/night was unbelievable!   the staff was friendly and helpful; the parking was reasonable and convenient and parking staff was courteous. The proximity to the Civic Center, The Asian Art Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral, Japantown, Market Street, Union Square was great. The daily maid service was impeccable and the staff were all very pleasant. The wi-fi worked well and was free though not quite fast enough to take large downloads like movie files well. An excellent value for the money in a very convenient location just 10-15 minutes walk to Union Square at a fraction of the price.

  The room was well kept and I was on the Eddy side but on the 4th floor as long as the window is shut it was quiet. Free wireless and the morning paper were a pleasant suprise. - Nice, quiet, clean and good location

  We booked the King Deluxe room. From letsbookhotel.com the value was awesome for San Fran. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and far uptodate than standard hotel rooms, iphone docking on the clock, widescreen tv, DirectTV... Yes I said DirectTV. Although the room was cozy in size it's location is perfect. Just around the corner from... hva folk sier » the Cable Cars, Street Cars, and Bart system access. And right in the middle from all the shops - This was my first stay at Abri, but it won't be my last. What a perfect oasis in the busy shopping area and so conveniently located to mass transit. Small hotel with lots of class. Staff were warm and very helpful. Made me feel special.
