  I slept at the Americas Best Value Inn Downtown Phoenix for two nights in February 2013. I really liked the nice rooms where you feel very comfortable. Location is really good, you're 5-10 minutes walk (young couple ;) away of the center of downtown with a lot of options for restaurants, shops & attractions. You can see they are trying to put new life into downtown Phoenix. It will take more time but it's already worth visiting.

  The matresses were so comfortable and did not sag in the middle like so many hotels for when 2 share a bed.Very new and clean furniture in bedroomsand good size rooms. Great choice of food at the complimentary breakfast. - Close to Maricopa County Fair and they let me park my horse trailer and truck there during our stay.
