The condo was on the beach and offered excellent facilities. It was light and airey and there was free parking facilities and wifi. Geographically the condo was easily to find and was in a good position to access other places on Maui. It was lovely to wake up in the morning to look over the Pacific ocean. There is a good well looked after pool. The kitchen was particularly well stocked and included many extras like herbs,and spices. Included was a washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher wi.
alle vurderinger » I really enjoyed the location. We were close to everything needed and had easy access to a great long stretch of sandy beaches. It was nice to see and listen to the ocean each night as we went to bed. People were friendly and could enjoy morning and evening strolls down the beach. The rooms were well kept and very clean, I was very pleased to have a washer and dryer in our room. I would recommend staying here to anyone and for a repeat stay. -there was even a hide-a-bed in the couch that could . It was the last resort at north end of Sugar Beach. It was exactly what we wanted. It was small,peaceful and quiet. It was furnished nicely. The appliances were great. We enjoyed the weather and ocean waves lapping on the shore. Manager Sherry was very helpful. Location, location, location.... Rented condo 404...great views of ocean. Pool was great and staff helpful. All the amenities of home such as boogie boards, cooler, start up kit. The beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Last building on that stretch of beach gave us lots of walking room, uncrowded and lovely. People were fantastic, fun, friendly. Beautiful facility, and a short drive to anywhere on the Island. Lovely view from our room too. Kealia Resort is right on the beach and there is an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after swimming or walking.The pool area is small but clean. The close proximity to the beach - just a few steps away! And, the beach was beautiful. It was Beautiful in every sense!!!!!. The room was lovely and cozy with some decorations of sea turtles, dolphins and other Hawaii/Maui related pictures, which gave me an impression that the owner loves the room so much. There were not many people around the beach in that area, so it was nice just sitting on the beach chair to see sunset. The condo was okay, little bit far from anywhere... good to have washing machine and kitchenette. We like the central location on the island for access to all areas. Beach excellent for walking. The only issue was that there was traffic noise due to the condos being located near to a busy road. Some double glazing would have alleviated this issue. In order to harvest sugar cane the fields have to be burned. We are very aware of forest fires in Oregon, so the smell of smoke in the early morning hours alerted us to fire. When there is no wind, there is no smoke. It is a little tough to see where it is, especially in the dark...Hawaii signage laws are to blame. The living-room air conditioning unit did not work. No airconditioning in the bedroom. Although the room we rented was nice, the building was very old and not well maintained. It is also located by the road so it was noisy with a lot of cars all the time. The Sugar Beach, being in front of the condominium, wasn't good beach for us who wanted to swim and snorkel. Bit outdated... one person in the party was a smoker... no lighting at night to go and have a cigarette in the only smoking area, bit unsafe for female on their own... bit far from anything... lucky we had a car.. Found the traffic noise very disturbing. Did not like location because the wind blew incessantly. Did not like the condition of the building/cleanliness of the unit.
