  I liked everything. The room was spacious, clean and was right on a river. It was also right behind the parkway where there was plenty of shopping and places to eat. It is also right behind all the Ripley's attractions and next door to the Ripley's Aquarium. We were able to walk to everything which was great because we didn't have to load up and u... hva folk sier » nload kids from the car. The price was very family friendly. I would stay here again. I just recommend calling the hotel to make sure you are getting - I enjoyed the fact that they had given us an upgrade on our reservation. My fiancé and I loved the proximity to Gatlinburg's main strip and that we weren't forced to pay for parking. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel. Even though we stayed during the weekend, we felt that we had our privacy and didn't notice any commotion. We will definitely come back to River Terrace.

  Loved the location and the fact that we were in the mountains. The location was great--just a few miles outside of Gatlinburg and not very far to all the sites and attractions of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. The staff went out of their way to see that we had what we needed, including a waitress and chef that more than accommodated my special reques... hva folk sier » ts needed for dietary purposes. Lots to do just on the resort grounds so you don't even have to wander off property if you just want to relax. - We like that we could visit here & had all we needed right on spot, didn't have to bring anything from town. We like that as a couple we were able to go out that evening & enjoy other couples socializing at the bar & had the restaurant on site. We also like that when we decide to come back we can also bring our daughter & she will be occupied with activities to do for her own age. Beautiful place, loved it, can't wait to come back!

  The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and a delight. The fixtures and appliances all worked great, were all from the '70's, but still in great shape. Peaceful.   The spacious room the suite had with all the comforts of being away from home. Fireplace was nice also and all the added activities the resort has to offer. Great to keep young and older children occupied. Definitely coming back. - Accommodations were extremely spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
