I love this place! The staff at the front desk was really friendly and
helpful. The hotel is right on the beach. We booked a king suite (its
the size of an apartment!!!) We love love love the decor. Our room had
washer, dryer, dish washer, full kitchen. And by full kitchen I mean
stove, fridge, counter/bar behind the sink. Glassware (plates, cups,
pots/pans, etc.). a beautiful table in the dining area. A super nice
living room. Two flat screens. Our room was right in front of the beach.

Lovely accommodation, with a great swimming pool, the beach is at the back of the hotel and an easy 2 minutes walk along a boardwalk from the hotel. The two maintenance staff we had dealings with were wonderful we had a problem with the washing machine in our apartment ( I think it was my inability to work it correctly) and he came and helped me sort it out. When we arrived the gate from the apartments' patio area giving direct access to the swimming pool was locked as a safety feature to stop .
Condo-like at hotel prices We went as a family of 12 including 2
children under 2, 3 children 6-9 & a 16 yr old. We had 3 suites. It
accommodated every need & there was plenty to do for everyone. The
kitchen and washer & dryer was a necessity & very much
appreciated. Our suites had a king bed with ample room. The bathroom had
a huge shower & jacuzzi tub. Our balconies were large with fantastic
views of the Gulf. It was quiet & a 5 min. Drive to all the main
attractions. .
this was by far the most relaxing place we've stayed in Galveston and we've been many times. The layout is perfect, all the suites are arranged to have wonderful views and it is so quiet.
The staff was the most friendly, efficient and caring about the guest and the property that I've come in contact with. Sandy in the office was wonderful. The man who seems to be in charge of maintenance and cleaning (sorry I didn't get his name) was tireless, friendly, out of his way helpful!.
The room was extremely clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable
with cosy bedding. The staff were friendly and helpful and of course the
location, right on the beach is beautiful. The pool and spa are
absolutely breathtaking with an ocean view and right outside our room.
This is an excellent facility and I will certainly be back again...we
choose this hotel every year!!! (Three years in a row so far).
I constantly saw people working to keep the facilities clean and
operational. The guys who took care of the pool were interesting to
watch but they really seemed to care about keeping everything nice for
their guests. All too often we never see the service people or when we
do they try to never have contact with us - These people were friendly
and nice and spoke to us...
The location was exactly what we were looking for, semi secluded with very close beach access. Stayed in the one room suite and it was well worth the money. Room was clean and comfortable, view was great. Wife and I have been making an annual trip here for the past three years and this has been the best stay by far. We will be returning to this hotel next year.
I loved the quiet location, not having to cross a busy street to get to the ocean and the resort has a little bit of everything. Pool and gym were excellent. Facilities and staff were exceptional. Beautiful view of the beach with balcony. Loved the Jacuzzi tub in the room.
Very clean, spacious, comfortable, attractive rooms at a competitive
price.The fitness, pool and jacuzzi areas were also very nice and well
maintained. The view and proximity to the beach were also bid pluses.
The nightly movie and board games made it feel like home.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and up to date.
Loved the convenience to washer/dryer. The beach access was perfect!
No busy traffic to deal with. My boys had a great time crabbing at
night... Too much fun, hated to leave.
Quality of the accommodation. We had a fantastic full suite with kitchen. When our friends came to visit they made to feel at home and were able to enjoy the pool and facilities. The accommodation and facilities are very family orientated.
The location was absolutely perfect. It was far enough away from the heavy traffic, yet close enough to get to restaurants, etc. easily. The accommodations were very comfortable and the views of the beach and gulf were perfect.
I loved being right on the beach. So nice to just walk across the boardwalk to the clean beach. Also the resort was far enough away from the tourist area yet close enough to drive and have plenty of things to discover.
We liked just about everything. The room was beautiful and fully appointed with everything we needed. It was great to have direct beach access.
However, even with minor irritations we would assign a 10 to our visit.
Everything was fabulous! The "condo" style room was gorgeous. We had a gorgeous view from every spot in the room and the staff was great! Absolutely wonderful! We have found our new vacation spot for Galveston.
This was a great place to stay with my family. The location is perfect
because its right in the beach! The rooms are clean and perfect for our
family of four. We keep coming back (our 4th stay) for a reason.
we like it a lot the hotel right on water frond we don't have to walk a cross the street and the room have kitchen most every thing we need was there kid love pool and hot tub. good for get a way weaken.
The staff was extremely friendly and offered lots of information on the
area attractions. The Resort was right on the beach, whereas all the
others required a walk across a five lane highway to reach it.
Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and facility, and all rooms have a great view of either pool or beach. I would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Galveston!.

I loved the almost private beach, the room was great, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and shower, full front ocean view with balcony. The staff is outstanding!.
Location was great and Caitlin an absolute star, nothing was too much for her. The room was great too and quite large, with fantastic views of the sea.

It is off the beaten path, but still close enough to town food and entertainment is only 10-15 minutes away by car. The beach was nice and clean.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave and maybe that the pool wasn't heated. Everything else was perfect!.
The only thing I would like to see is a discount for multiple nights or
longer stays because I would have been able to stay a few more nights. I
also noticed that staying during the week was the same price as weekend
stays and since I booked a weekday stay to avoid crowds etc I was hoping
to save just a little more money on the room.
Located on the outskirts of town but perfect for what we wanted. No on-site restaurant but the kitchenette worked great to have home-cooked meals when we wanted without having to leave our suite while "getting away" from it all. Too late of a check-in and too early check-out.
No housekeeping service. No restaurant or breakfast available.
This is very minor - there was a problem with the dryer and was not
drying the towels quickly. I called teh front desk to request clean
towels. The girl explained I would be charged for additional towles so I
explained I tried washing our room towels but the dryer was not working.
She sent maintenance to fix the dryer which they ended up replacing the
next day but we still did not have clean towels until shortly before
check out. :(.
Really wish they had a children's playground for the younger children.
Town was a bit far for eating at the fabulous restaurants downtown. But we managed.
I also was put off by not being able to get to the beach by the way of the first floor before 8. It meant having to deal with shoes due grass spurs and pavement. Also the computer in the business center was extremely slow as well as connections in our room.
Construction and raspberry crazy ants invaded our car in the parking
lot, but these were minor issues.
I would have liked an outdoor shower coming from the beach to the pool
instead of the hose sticking through the deck with little water
pressure.A Restaurant with a limited menu would be nice.
Check in time is at exactly 4:00, there is no early check in.
We wished we could've checked in earlier and left a little later. We didn't have the dvd player in our room, but as soon as i notified the front desk, the next day it was brought to our room.
The location is a little remote, quite a drive to the restaurants and stores.
The pool was a little dirty around the grounds and unfortunately had to be shut due to an incident, which we completely understood.
Rooms could be cleaner upon arrival. Found empty water bottles and
garbage behind nightstand, tv stand, and under beds. Bathtub had hairs
as did bedding for sleeper sofa.
Could have used a more extensive food mart type thing. We would have
purchased more out of convience. But we had to go to grocery store.
There are blackout shades over the sliding door in the bedroom. This is
good but there are no blackout shades on the window next to the door. So
much light comes in - its makes the blackout shades useless. The dryer
was useless. It took over 4 hours to get a few shirts and towels dry.
Seems like a waste of energy running those things so long.
No restaurant on site, although several places deliver. No housekeeping service.
Spring break kids woke us up. They had been partying all night and was a bit out of control. This was not the resorts doing by any means, but was annoying.

although there were kitchen facilities, there was no grocery store close by and no other food options on the property
the elevator situation was poor, on in either wing to serve 5 floors, the property was full when we were there and there was always a long wait for the elevator.
We we're on the 4th floor and the people above us were very noisy till ten thirty and started up again in the mornng. Next time we will not stay unless we can get a top floor. When we got there the jacuzzi didn't work, but they had it fixed by the second day.
All was great ,there was nothing bad!.
Unfortunately was during the remodeling of the upper floors, so suffered thru some construction noise and vibrations.
The only thing that we had a slight niggle about were the fact that more elevators were needed, and the stairs could not be accessed from the ground floor!.
The bed was very hard but me and the wife didn't do much sleeping anyway....
The room itself was very spacious but unless you are planning on staying for an extended period the amenities are not worth the price. They do have a late check in and early check out.
The outdoor spa was not working.
Check out time a bit early.
You have no control about the weather do you. Only thing else the elevator is slow and you can't use the stairs to enter building.

The pool was too cold and the spa was too hot.

Numerous hairs and sticky spots in floor when we checked in, yuck.
The 10:00 a.m. check out time. Maybe extend it to 11:00 a.m.
Needed to move chairs and table in order to open pull out couch. Then not much room to move around. We did fine with just one child 11 yo. Shared laundry with just one other family.
Pool/ spa closes too early (10p.m.). Hopefully it stays open later during summer.
Away from the main eateries but if you have a car, it will be no problem. Far to walk to the main places so driving is a must.
I couldn't stay longer.
