Ice Machines Convenient, towels provided, restaurant actually came to the beach to take orders, food was excellent (better seafood than I had eaten anywhere around), Also the inside restaurant was excellent....we used our coupon from not having our room cleaned...Very beautiful grounds, convenient parking by our room.... The option of two pools was great. It will be fantastic once the new jacuzzi and kid's splash pad is complete. Our room was SPACIOUS! A great walk-in closet. We had a nice balcony. Loved that it was Eco-friendly and we could just let the staff know when we needed service rather than a knock on the door each morning.
alle vurderinger » From front desk staff, to housekeeping, everyone working at this facility was friendly and cared about our experience. The guest service was the best I've seen! The facility was clean, updated and our beachfront room was exactly that. Right on the beach. We loved it and plan to return at least once a year. Loved the proximity to the beach, clean facilities, covered parking, very friendly helpful staff, choice of green options were rewarded, and making available access to beach for locals. Awesome beach service!. great, friendly, attentive staff. A hotel that is right on the beach at FT Walton. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Its an older building, but a perfect place to stay for any beach vacationers. Staff was really nice! It was great to get $5.00 vouchers for going green! Location was great and beach was not too crowded. Beds were very comfy! Breakfast buffet was good!. everything we have been coming here for years but the pricing is gotten so high we cant go as often we are 62 years young and always have my 13 year old grandoughter.. We had a great relaxing few days here. Staff were very helpful and beach was great as it was not overcrowded. Rooms were nicely kept and Breakfast was excellent. The beds & bedding Awesome. Close to all the great attractions in Destin. Wish I would have stayed longer. Went on to Panama Bad Choice... Quiet, comfortable, great beach access! Liked the fact that they gave $$ vouchers for being green! Great incentive!. I pretty much like everything...the fact that the hotel is walking distance, that made it all excellent!. Beautiful room, right next to the beach, restaurants were in the same vicinity, 1+ pool and whirlpool. Service was excellent and rooms were very comfortable. The hotel was very family friendly. Room was very nice clean & beautiful view, beds were nice & comfortable . Room itself- beautiful, understated with great view, lovely linens, nice tv. really liked the balcony which overlooked the white sandy beach and water. Front desk help was excellent, Restaurant wait staff personable,. I loved the beds and the pillows.and location. ease of carport/garage, view, beaches, food. I thought I read that two chairs and umbrella came with the room as complimentary...which was a reason I chose it...but it didnt. . Needed more shaded areas at one of the pools... I could see the beginning of some mold on the ceiling of the shower. I would definitely research June grass and try to arrange my trip around a time when that might not be expected. We weren't able to use the ocean at all, which was the reason for our trip. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was under construction, but it looks like a nice addition to the two pools and splash area for the kids. We'll be back again to enjoy it!. View obstructed by Beach service and recreational vehicles. It would be better if they were parked closer to building, so view of sand and water were not blocked. Excellent workers and service, though. price. Coffee needs improvement, it tasted burnt, like the pot needed to be cleaned....every day!. Requested for extra towels and didn't get them until 2 hours later. Stayed for 6 days 5 nights room was only cleaned 1 time, they come by first day told them we only needed towels 2nd day told them were in process of getting ready to leave to please come back did not come back till 2 days later. Outside: run down, stairways dirty, landscaping torn up. In room: curtain broken, bath tub drain not working, could not stop water dripping. hotel could be updated. everything was great. need more coffee cups, spoons/utensils in kitchenette. Staff took forever for check in and check out. Bath room tub plunger didn't work out side bar closed to early we had to go elsewhere to have a drink I'm talking 9:00 pm inside bar air condition didn't work for three days. The worst coffee served on this planet! Also, the breakfast buffet is pure slop....i was really angry that they charged $30 per day for chairs and umbrella...it should be included. Carpet in room needed shampooing as well. price. the king size bed was stiff. I wish I would have gotten the larger room. I left a day early, due to a work situation. They weren't helpful on how I should handle it as far a credit with them or through who I booked the room with. Beach chair rental price. Breakfast was terrible. Food quality was not good. Toast and coffee was cold. Bacon was burnt in omelettes. We had to return our room keys three times before they realized what the problems was with entering our room. Such an inconvenience! After the first night, housekeeping failed to replace washcloths in the bathroom!. A family with small children stayed in the room next to us and they were very noisy and there was not policy displayed for the guess about the important of being considered and quite pass 10:00 pm. Room was a little sandy and we had to wait past the normal check in time because for some reason our room was not ready. Upon arrival, there were computer issues and we had to wait 1 hour and a half to check in. Usually a hotel would comp breakfast or something (maybe a beach umbrella/chairs) for the huge inconvenience. No such luck here. Also, I had to ask for our room to be serviced the second day. And it was not even done the third day. This is inexcusable. older.
