  The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were large, clean and had plenty of amenities. The lobby and veranda were charming and the cocktail lounge was nice - energetic but not crazy or loud. - Excellent service! Friendly staff, large, comfortable rooms and wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb food and service quality. Spotless rooms, but smallish. Southern Colonial furnishings with much of the hotel and local history framed on the walls. Marvelous bed. Excellent location near all restaurants. Very good quality early morning coffee complimentary. Not cheap but reasonable price at $200, would... hva folk sier » be $300 in bigger city. - Great location, great breakfast buffet, wonderful staff.

  Oh my, the hotel is absolutely beautiful! Approximately 50 minutes before I checked in, they had experienced a "flash" flood. The staff had worked hard to clean up the lobby area as quickly as possible. The front desk staff was extremely calm under the circumstances. Bravo!! - We stayed here on our wedding night and it was fabulous! Tons of p... hva folk sier » ersonal attention and nice romantic touches in our room. The staff went out of their way to look after us and ensure that we had the best possible night! First class!
