  Hotel location was excellent. Motel is not modern buy very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. We were lucky with the wheather in october. 24 C for 2 days. Because of the US Federal Shutdown, the Parks were closed but we decided to walk the beautiful trails up to Cadillac Mountain - 4 miles up and 4 miles down.   We loved everything about the Robbins Motel! We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for what we were looking for. We hiked all day at Acadia and this was a perfect place to come back to.   Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor.
