  The front desk Manager was very helpful. We arrived at the hotel at arounf 10 AM, The fornt desk personnel, knowing that we had a hard time locating the address and have driven 9 hours from Toronto, had a room ready and available immediately. - Value for the area and close to EWK airport.   The place definitely has history. We even looked it up and have a look for yourselves: http://www.newarkhistory.com/mlkblvd.html It looks a little bit run down, but we didn't experience any of the terrible things people mention in their reviews. The room was clean and spacious. No mice, bed bugs, racoons or cockroaches.You can tell the hotel is ol... hva folk sier » d and perhaps rooms need renovation but 'old looking' is not a synonym of 'dirty'. There was even bottled water in the fridge and candies. No tea and - Hotel is much better than we expected owing to unfavourable reviews we read. Staff, cleanliness, comfort are very good.
