excellent views which made for an interesting stay. Nice pool area, just

Best value!!!! I loved having the restaurant on the same floor as our
room. We visited happy hour and drank their signature cocktails for only
$5 each! And not to mention wine Wednesday - half off bottles!!! So
happy! We also loved walking to little Italy for dinner. We had a

I liked the fact that it had a balcony, the bathrooms were a good size, the tv was a nice flat screen, the AC was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the restaurant/bar was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly, and the location of the hotel itself is in a great spot.

For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. It was conviniently located in downtown, not too far from the main attractions that we went to see in S.D. Great price for the area. Very Clean. Continental breakfast which was included daily was ok. - Convenient location, staff very accomodating, room very spacious and clean.

Lovely hotel-big room really quiet (don't hear other guests) &
hardly hear traffic. Super comfortable beds. Great choice for downtown
as away from the noise of Bars etc & traffic and close enough to
walk. We stayed 9 nites here in total -left another hotel & came

This was my 18th hotel in 30 days and was the best. The gaslight district is a short walk and there is heaps to do in the area. The staff went out of there way to advise on things to do. the hilly part of downtown San Diego, overlooking the City itself with a distant view of the Harbor; along with a walkway extending outward with table and chairs for outside sitting to catch the incredible breeze. Phenomenally good value for money. Just book it. The room was well and
tastefully appointed and fitted with tv, cafetiere and fridge as well as
table and chairs. A good cafe was on site serving simple but very
palatable fare. There were also gym and pool facilities which I did not

World, Midway Museum, Old Town, Zoo etc (in fact there were shuttles

on Shutter Island compared to downtown sd was better than expected. From
now on, I'd rather visit humphrey's again and skip the major

This is regarding our booking. I have used letsbookhotel.com for sometime now. I booked 3 rooms well in advance, & had stayed at this hotel before(booked by AMA).
When we got there, they did not have your booking. They did not receive it. We had your confirmation. Luckily they had a few rooms available as it was mid-week. We had our hearts set on staying there as we loved it the year prior. The front desk says this happens ALL THE TIME WITH letsbookhotel.com..

I like the location on Shutter Island with the feeling to come back "home" at night after a day spent around in San Diego.
Incredible remote view of San Diego downtown.
Very spacious room overlooking the marina, which is definitely better than the ones on the bay as there is the parking in between the hotel and the sea.
A lot of very good restaurants nearby in Point Loma: no need to travel far away from the hotel.
