  We enjoyed the outside bbq grilles nearly every night. Found a great fresh fish market in Hanalei, called Hanalei Dolphin, behind the restaurant there. Close to the airport but no airplane noise, close to shopping in Kapa'a, fun pools here and next door.   The grounds were really nice, with a beautiful view of the ocean, not good for swimming but very nice stretch of coast. A great deal for the money, very relaxing and laid back. A slice of old Hawaii that is fast disappearing. The condo itself was very well appointed, with Hawaiian furnishings, even Hawaii plates! The pool was enjoyable. The pool... hva folk sier » bar had great drinks and food at very reasonable prices, and the restaurant on site had the best meal we have had on any Hawaiian island...and we hav - Garden View Apartment included nice view of ocean, large lanai with table and two chairs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen, supplied soaps for washer and dishwasher and bathroom toiletries. There were several clean gas grills with grilling tools around the property as well as lounge chairs, hammocks, pool and hot tub. Great restaurant on site but make reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Gluten free menu was phenomenal.

  Very spacious, clean and comfortable space. The bathroom and kitchen were beautifully decorated and a joy to use. Maid service was good, even though we participated in the "go green Kauai" program. Parking was plentiful and just outside the door. We had an ever so small view of the ocean even though I paid for resort view. Lots of restaurants and ... hva folk sier » shopping nearby. A beautiful, sandy beach which was good for swimming or surfing was relatively close by. - Well appointed large rooms, nice bedding with comfortable and supportive mattresses, beautiful bathrooms, wonderfully supplied kitchen, washer and drier with detergent, great appliances, nice pool and hot tub, great location. Yes, the view is not great, but it is private and quiet and comfortable. It is hard to beat for the price.
