It was a great deal for a very clean and spacious room (we had a king
size bed in our room, along with a comfy chair with a foot rest). It was
much cheaper than anything in downtown Charleston and even cheaper when
compared to a lot of other hotels near the airport, as well. But the
lower cost did not equal a lack of service or cleanliness. Also,

water pressure was adjustable and the shower was very roomy. The room
had everything we needed, and we especially loved having the fridge to
store -
Kayla Brown - on desk on 6/1/13. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in one room with a king bed and pull out couch. This was fine in the beginning but of course one person snored so loud that the rest of the group could not sleep. They did not have another room to accommodate us but Kayla Brown found us another hotel and gave us extra time to check out. She is wonderful and so very helpful.
This is a great place to stay.

It was one of the best places we have ever stayed, we will stay there again soon. Very clean and the staff was great. It was a great experience to visit Charleston for the first time and this hotel made it awesome. -

We loved the rooms, the view, the outside areas were excellent - very
relaxing and accessible. The atmosphere of the facility was calming and
upscale. Staff was very informative and friendly. This was the best
place we stayed on our trip. It was nice to have a parking garage that
was accessible to the lobby and also free of extra charge. -

Although hotel is situated 1.5 miles from central Charleston the half hourly shuttle bus makes eating out in evening very easy.

The suite was roomy and well laid out. The front desk had a packet of
materials about the area prepared for us for our arrival. The breakfast
room was cheery and well laid out. The choices for breakfast were great.
Their evening shuttle to downtown operated perfectly for drop off and
pick-up and added to the relaxation of the trip. -

... hva folk sier » n was courteous. We were a tad early but no mention was made of it. We had a lovely room. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and pool. And the breakfast was awesome. Even though the hotel is not in the historic sector, their shuttle service renders that practically null.

This is a refurbished fort. The building is fascinating. The atrium where the rooms are is open and beautiful. Our room was typical Embassy Suite. The hotel is on the same block as Rue 99, Coast and Virginia's on King, three great restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. -

This was a great hotel! The staff could not have been more accommodating and the location was convenient to everything. It was the most crowded weekend of the year and we did not stress for one minute because the staff at the hotel took care of everything! We ate at the Swamp Fox twice and it was excellent!!
