*Room, pool, office, and grounds were VERY clean. (Great job guys!!)
*Staff was friendly and helpful. *Flooring in room was laminate and not scary old shag carpet - you know the kind!
*Sheets and towels smelled and looked fresh and clean.
*Location is good - ~6 min to downtown, but close to many sites and shopping.

I loved the folk running the motel, it was a 10 minute walk to town, it
was clean and I felt very comfortable at the 8 and the price was very
fair, especially as the A.C.L. festival was running as well and they
could've hiked their prices up like other motels have done, Im very
happy to stay at the 8 again, I have no complaints at all. -

I was in Austin for surgery. Day's Inn in walking distance to the hospital. It was very comfortable there, and the staff very helpful. They gave me a quiet room shielded from the noise of the interstate which runs along the front of the hotel. -
It was very nice and clean. It was in perfect walking distance to Texas University.

The hotel was located very close to downtown; approximately 4.5 miles.
It also isn't too far from the airport and Circuit of the Americas
racetrack which is why we traveled to Austin in the first place. Airport
was about 12 miles and racetrack about 16 miles or so.
We also liked the breakfast in the morning which included eggs, ham, potatoes, and

We were in Austin for the F1 race at the Circuit Of The Americas. The hotel was a 10 min bus ride from Downtown, cost $2 for an all-day pass that you could buy on the bus itself.
The staff were very helpful with any questions we had.
Our room was cleaned every day by very pleasent staff.
The breakfast was very good too.
We highly recommend this hotel.
