I loved the warm welcome and service at the Alexander. I could not have
been treated any better. I was upgraded to a double room which had the
en-suite because it was available. Was extremely happy about that. I
went to the Alexander as I had an interview at Swansea University, so it
was the nearest hotel to the uni. The full English breakfast was

The Alexander is conveniently located for a nights stay as I was bringing my daughters belongings back from her university lodgings. The facilities are very good & I would highly recommend the Alexander. The breakfast is excellent & caters for every taste. The Alexander is the best place I have stayed in Swansea.

The staff were all very helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy.
Although very basic the beds were very comfortable and clean. Tea and
coffee in rooms. Good system to get in and out and owner very nice
letting us leave our bags at the hotel whilst we went shopping the next
day so we did not have to carry it about as we travelled by train. Very

The staff, the manager Mick, his elderly father John and a young girl took good care of me staying there. They were all very kind and helpful whatever I wanted and had a good portion of humour and very friendly and easygoing. A good place to stay for a reasonable price. Would choose the same place if I go to Swansea again.
