Springwood feels so much like home! The owners were exceptionally obliging in ensuring that we had everything we could possibly need to have a happy stay there. The hotel has a lovely family feel to it, homely and comfortable. Fabulous sized room, king size bed, loads of storage, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Had a very enjoyable stay at Megstone House. We stayed for just one night as we tried to see as much as Northumberland as possible in a few days. Donna and Paul the couple who owned the B&B are a lovely couple and the house is full of character, very clean and modern. As we were the only couple staying we received star treatment but I'm sure

Megstone House was a fabulous find, immaculate and tastefully decorated 'huge' bedrooms. In a great location for exploring the coast and only a 5 minute stroll into town and the harbour. Donna and Paul are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them and their breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day ahead. A very friendly welcome in a warm and cosy home, would definately recommend.
