All communications prior to arrival were welcoming and reassurring. Upon our (unfortunately late) arrival, we were warmly greated by Lois and John and instantly made to feel very welcome. Their warm and friendly attitude was maintained throughout our stay and was really appreciated. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and genuinely spotless. A great selection of beautiful breakfast options too ! Offers an ideal location for the city centre and cathedral Some B&Bs might be a bit chea.
alle vurderinger » We loved it all, the willingness of the owners to assist with any enquiry and their general welcome and friendliness. We would highly recommend Spire House to visitors of Salisbury and will return there ourselves in the future....and for the record we were in Room 1 (on the front of the house) and were not in anyway bothered by any noise. A lovely place to stay in Salisbury. Very central location, nice rooms, good breakfast with pleasant company (a couple from Australia). The hosts were very helpful, extra water bottles were provided because of the heat, and they were more than willing to help with information, recommendations and directions. Such friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts, great location and good breakfast. Would stay again if in the area. Thanks to Lois and John for being so accommodating of our early arrival, despite the fact they were about to go out themselves! We were amazed by their selflessness - thank you both. Lois and John made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and where to go for sightseeing. It's in a great location in Salisbury and parking was easy. On both the days we were staying the breakfast was excellent. John & Lois are wonderful hosts. They make sure each guest is looked after and provide excellent facilities. They issued us with parking permits each day so we did not have to worry about parking costs. Highly recommended!. On arrival the owners are incredibly welcoming and provide you with useful knowledge about the area. The room itself was beautifully decorated and the bed was fantastic. Would defintely recommend. Almost everything was perfect. I didn't have any breakfast so I cannot say anything about it. But Spire House is 100% recommendable for the position, the comfort and the kindness of the staff. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in our planning of activities. Their recommendations were always right on target. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The location was great. Absolutely nothing !!! It's not often I respond without any suggestion. My fiance is of a large build so perhaps if we stayed there again we would ask for a room with a slightly bigger shower. It was a little tight for him in there but that is our only small observation and not in anyway a complaint. Nothing. We liked everything! :) We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Salisbury - the location is close to cathedral and shopping locations. Nothing. Shower water pressure was rather weak. nothing to dislike about the spire. Nothing. The decoration is a bit old fashioned. Nothing. Shower needed more pressure.
