  Lizzie and Gary are incredibly hospitable and helpful. Every day at adelicious breakfast Lizzie will give you some hints on what's on inEdinburgh. We stayed with our little one (2y) and were very warmlyreceived. The guesthouse is continuously improving its decor. Frequentbuses take you in less than 15 minutes to city center. The location for us was ideal as it is close to the student accomodation whaer our daughter is - but with very frequent busses it is only 5 minuits to Princes street, or a 20-25 minute walk.

  The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. When I had three hours to wait until I could check into my next hotel, Margaret let me stay a bit late in my room. A big chain hotel is seldom this flexible. The room was large and quiet, the location was central, and the price was absolutely stupendous. This is what a "family operation" should... hva folk sier » be. I would absolutely stay here again. - Very courteous accomodating hosts, they were very flexible. Duly answered all our queries and made us feel at home, very quickly. Excellant customer service. The value for money was simply excellant, the food was fresh and we had good options to choose from.

  very helpfull and friendly staff who made us feel at home in a very pleasent atmosphere.would reccomend to all our friends - Small hotel but rooms were far more comfortable than a lot of chain hotels i have stayed in

  I had a pleasant 2 nights stay whilst visiting Open golf championship (Muirfield, July 2013) Sakura is a clean & comfortable B&B, VFM for short stay in Edinburgh. The owner (Maggie) provides a friendly service, & delivers a decent breakfast to you room. Newington is an old town suburb with real ale pubs offering good food. A vibrant al... hva folk sier » ternative to the main tourist area, yet only 20 min walk to Waverley station & royal mile. - This guesthouse offers very nice service and the owner is really very friendly. The location is very well closed to the main street, where the bus station can take you to anywhere. In addition, we do appreciate the breakfast, which is really nice. If chanced, I will be here twice and more definitely!
