  All reviews mention the famous carpet on the stairs, but my room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the meals in the bar were fine, and the location is excellent, opposite the castle, next to a bus stop and convenience store, and an easy walk to the railway station. - A very warm welcome by the staff. Location superb in the center of eautiful Castletown. Bust stop right outside. Food was excellent.

  in particular the price was very good. We could afford to visit the Isle of Man more if other hotels were available for this sort of price - it was very pleasant the staff were all friendly and the food was excellent

  Location - slightly out of town (an easy 10 min walk) but quiet and our room had an excellent view of the gardens, promenade and port Staff- very friendly and helpful, actually interested in what you were and had done Lock up shed to put our three bicycles in - Clean, tidy, well kept.
