  From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the warm friendliness of the reception staff then taken in to the lounge area for a drink and some afternoon tea. We were shown to our room which was perfect in every way spacious comfortable clean it ticked all the boxes. Everything was perfect, very comfortable rooms, clean, location was great and very good service. We had to do a late check out and they were very nice and arranged everything we needed. Very good gym facility. Additionally all the soft drinks are complimentary and nespresso machine and tea available in the room, very convenient. Definitely recommend!

  Nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellant. Lovely bar to enjoy a drink. Complementry bottles of water. Great being able to have a spa treatment after hectic day shopping/sightseeing.   We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Although I booked a standard double at a very deep discounted rate (typically this means getting the box room next to the staff quarters), I was given an apartment room which was really a suite. With the tube being within walking distance, & a bus stop just below the apartment, it was a really convenient location.   Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double. While dining in the restaurant the staff noticed I was under the weather and made me a special tea.
