Hey, the key pick-up was Cheltenham! I used to live there and had forgotten how nice it was. Old school mammers and full of charm. Apartment was just as described by Suzanne and fully equiped. The only problem was getting the grill to work - never had one before that only works when the door is closed! - Great location and so much more pleasant

the amenities that anyone could wish for whilst on holiday or on
business. It is located downstairs but was very private. Breakfast
supplies were lovely - fruit, cereals, juice, etc. It is well located
for restaurants, cinemas and the high street. Parking is at the rear and
very convenient. We used Portland Apartments as our base to touring the

The hotel is located across the street from an abbey built in the 1100's.The staff was extremely helpful with advice, carried our very heavy luggage upstairs for us, gave us special attention at breakfast, provided excellent breakfast choices and made us feel super welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Tewkesbury

I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Slaughters Country Inn and the tranquil surroundings of what is a stunning village. The staff were very welcoming, very friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Our room, in the main building, had beautiful views over the rear garden and ponds.
