  I booked a one week stay, B&B in a single room hoping for a relaxing holiday after a busy few months at work. On arrival check in was easy and very friendly. Then came the part I had dreaded. (As a single traveller, on occasions rooms elsewhere have been little more than a broom cupboard with a view of the bins...!). Breakfast had ever - The idea of four hotels and facilities accessible to every resident and not even having to get wet or cold (march 2013)brr!   I stated at the heritage sept 23rd for 3 nights.All the staff where very helpful & polite especially the breakfast waiter(he was as good as any tourist info center)!The views where fantastic.My room was spotless on arrival,as was the whole hotel.The pool was lovely to relax in.The bar is lively,but as a solo traveller it was just what I wanted... hva folk sier » .They even put FREE hot food on the bar during one of the matches.Simple things,but they cared about their customers.If you prefer a lifeless quiet ba - The location was ideal for what we needed i.e. searching for a holiday apartment in the Torbay area. The room was good sized, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I think we had a recently refurbished shower room which was very smart. We had a magnificent view of Torbay across to Brixham. The room was surprisingly well insulated against noise from the outside. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, harbour, parks, visitor attractions and restaurants.
