A real treat. - can't fault it. a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. the attention to detail for is great, champagn on arrival, umbrella and welly boots for country walks, loads of facilities. the complimentary wine tasting is a great way to start your evening.

  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help. Overall a fantastic stay and my wife and I will certainly be going back again. - Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.

  Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in.   we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! Breakfast was excellent as was the clubhouse and swimming pool.   Good Morning. I am not prone to writing such mails but I feel I have to make some comments about a recent stay at your Cliffden Hotel in Teignmouth from Friday 19th July to Sunday 21st. I have to say that having booked the hotel through a proprietary web site, we hadn’t realised the ‘’duality of purpose of the hotel, and were a little surprised to... hva folk sier » meet so many ‘sight impaired’ people. This letter is to convey nothing but highest praise and to say we enjoyed our all too short stay. The tariffs - After reading some of the reviews, I was a little dubious but we arrived, checked in and it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well stocked - we even had a fan which was much appreciated over the very hot weekend. My husband and I are in our 50's and it was our first weekend away with our two dogs. They too were made to feel very welcome. The gardens were lovely and we spent alot of time of the terrace which could have done with a little more TLC, but we loved i

  That was quite strange experience to stay here. The building looks old but landmark of near the top of the hill over Woolacombe. The room is quite old and shabby as expected. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked for advice on places to visit. The room was clean and tidy with white sheets and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel had a lot of character and the view from the balcony was amazing. We will be visiting this hotel again.
