  The food was obviously of a high quality. After a walk round Grasmere the hotel's warm swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were a luxurious delight. I liked the internal link to the adjoining Lamb Inn, especially when it was raining. - the leisure facilities are fab the rooms are lovely and the food is excellent. the pub next adjoining was... hva folk sier » warm and friendly.

  The hotel is in an excellent location to see the Lake District. The only issue is the parking. The hotel does not own the parking lot so you must pay to use it. The lot is also rather small so you may have to park on the street and move your car by 9:00 in the morning or be ticketed. - The staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival. Central to all shops and restaurants and nice little park next to the hotel.
