  a very good place to stay to visit the Eden centre for any event but especially the Valentine Venetian masked ball - Staff were very friendly and helpful, the whole place was clean and tidy,food was very diliciuos

  Hazel was the perfect hostess. Nothing was a trouble, great advice on local walks etc, including maps & notes ( prepared by hotel). Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. Room lovely. We stayed in room 1, in main building, great aspect, opened on to balcony with access to garden. Lovely guest lounge & bar area. Superb stay in tranquil g... hva folk sier » arden setting. And to top it off, the evening meals were outstanding, presentation & service amazing, new menu each night, with at least two fish - The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble. For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

  The skill of the staff was immediately apparent as we arrived and our suitcases were quickly delivered to our room without fuss whilst we checked in. Unobtrusive yet always there is the hallmark here and we were waited on with charm and humour throughout our stay. Add a simply lovely location with commanding views, imaginative and beautifully tend... hva folk sier » ed grounds and very comfortable and spotless rooms and you can see why they win awards year after year. Food is also outstanding so it's hard to imagi - The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous during our stay. From the moment we entered the hotel they treated us like very special guests on a very special occasion. On top of the excellent accommodation (we had a seaside view superior room) the food was also delicious, presented in a very elegant and sophisticated way. Thank you All!

Beautiful seaview rooms (note, you do nto get views with economy doubles). Tea & coffee making facilities in room.

  Charming and unpretentious, I loved this hotel because it did not have the facilities or glamour of a boutique hotel but it had staff who cared , was very clean and comfortable and had a good old fashioned honesty about it which is so hard to find. Dinner was fresh , beautifully cooked and completely delicious. - Room a bit on the small size but ... hva folk sier » nice and clean. Even though our room was situated at the back, the little gate to the side of the building was so handy and you didn't have to go through the hotel to go outside. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Lovely comfy beds with cosy duvets. The shower was fantastic.
